A college diploma or university degree in computer science or software engineering.
At least 5 years of experience with D365 and certifications in professional Microsoft Dynamics or other relevant technologies.
Experience or specialization in one or more of Finance, Supply Chain, Integration, or Security.
Knowledge of X++, AX, Entity Framework, C#, .NET, SQL Server, Web Services, and XML.
Responsibilities
Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Understand the limitations and functional capabilities of out-of-the-box functionality as well as custom code.
Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without developing custom code.
Plan phases of the software development life cycle.
Assist in preparing and documenting software requirements and specifications.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
Liaise with technical teams, network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to help resolve problems with software products or company software systems.
Manage or provide guidance to junior software developers and research assistants.
Identify business requirements and match them with technological capabilities and Microsoft's continuous release plans.
Maintain the F&O platform, lead design initiatives, build customizations, fix bugs, work on integrations with other modules, and research, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

The Platform Engineer, Dynamics (F&O) maintains the F&O platform, leads the design initiatives, builds new customizations, fixes bugs, and works on integrations with other modules. The technical side includes researching, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.

Salary range: The target hiring salary range for this position is $82,000 - $95,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation. Final placement within the range depends on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
