Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities prepared by the classroom teacher.
Maintain an orderly, respectful classroom aligned with the school's academic and behavioral expectations.
Set and reinforce high expectations for student engagement, effort, and behavior.
Support student learning by providing guidance, clarification, and encouragement as needed.
Take accurate attendance and follow school procedures and policies.
Redirect student behavior appropriately and build positive rapport with students.
Communicate relevant academic or behavioral notes to the classroom teacher and/or school leadership.
Supervise students during transitions, lunch, or other assigned duties.
Uphold and model the school's Catholic and Jesuit identity in word and action.
Participate professionally as a member of the school community.
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Prior experience working with children or adolescents in education, youth programs, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or similar settings is strongly preferred.
Experience working with first-generation, low-income, or historically marginalized students is a plus.
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
