About the job
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Overtime may be required.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the device types used within the department.
- Receive inventory and assign it to appropriate accounts using a barcode scanner or transponder reader.
- Prepare shipments by applying stickers, casing, and adhesives.
- Maintain supplies, inventory, cleanliness, and organization in the processing area and storage room.
- Distribute company-wide mail.
- Operate the USPS Neopost metered mail machine.
- Place and retrieve recycling bins weekly.
- Greet shipping carriers and accept deliveries and pickups.
- Process returned transponders by removing them from accounts, de-casing, cleaning, applying adhesive, restocking, and communicating with external customers by email.
- Process assigned customer transponder orders using the Bestpass Account Management System (BPAM) and Enhanced Mailing Shipping (EMS) Neopost system.
- Complete mid-day and end-of-day shipping carrier account closeouts for UPS and USPS.
- Collect periodic task-time data for management efficiency and capacity reviews.
- Update standard operating procedures related to the position as applicable.
- Seek process improvements and efficiencies and communicate ideas and suggestions.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment or order-processing environment is helpful.
