Civil Engineer - Designer, EIT II

What You'll Do:

Prepare routine design calculations and collect or prepare data for use by others in more complex engineering analyses and studies
Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on design issues and concepts within an assigned scope
Take responsibility for preparation and drafting of project plans, specifications, exhibits, and reports; coordinate the work of other technicians as part of a project team
Prepare quantity and cost estimates, and use CADD tools to support construction plans and design considerations
Apply and follow company graphic standards with moderate proficiency in company design standards
Prepare permit applications and bid packages, and help ensure work stays within project schedule and budget
Take on occasional client contact and coordination, including attending project meetings with clients, agencies, or contractors
Communicate project status regularly to the Project Manager and assist in maintaining CADD standards and details

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
EIT certification strongly preferred
2+ years of experience designing land development projects using Civil 3D
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact directly with clients
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workflow independently
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliable time management
