Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance for PC or console video games, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with publisher certification processes (e.g., Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Games as a Service (GaaS) titles and understanding of the unique challenges and strategies related to continuous development and release cycles.
  • Experience with non-functional testing (such as performance, scalability, load testing, compatibility, etc.) to enhance functional test coverage.
  • Strong experience in developing test plans, cases, and effective QA methodologies.
  • Experience managing outsourced QA resources and ensuring quality across distributed teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
  • Passion for video games and a commitment to quality and innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all aspects of QA, from day-to-day testing operations to the strategic development of test cases and management of outsource contract QA teams.
