Requirements
  • Be a rising college senior or graduate student.
  • Major in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field such as healthcare or mining.
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and involvement in a university investment club.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Work independently of daily oversight and communicate confidently in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Work with a specific analyst or sector to provide analytical support for ongoing or new research projects.
  • Participate in industry and company research, financial analysis, and report writing.
  • Develop and maintain financial models under analyst and associate supervision.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Interact with internal and external industry experts and corporate executives.
  • Attend earnings calls and investor presentations.
  • Contribute to daily research-sales meetings and department briefings.
  • Gain exposure to the company's products, services, and business practices.
  • Develop proficiency in financial databases and research tools.
  • Build presentation and communication skills through project work.
  • Network with professionals across the company platform.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and/or FactSet.
  • Financial modeling coursework or experience.
  • A leadership role in university investment clubs or finance organizations.
  • Previous finance internship experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in equity markets through coursework and/or personal investing.
