Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong understanding of critical payment rails: SWIFT, SAMOS, CBPR+, SADC, FX
- Experience in manual testing and test case design
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with TCS BaNCS Payments module
- Knowledge of cross-border payments, real-time gross settlement systems, and foreign exchange workflows
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and migration testing methodologies
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications
- Perform manual testing to validate system behavior across multiple payment rails
- Collaborate with automation teams to identify test cases suitable for automation
- Provide inputs for automation scripts and frameworks
- Validate the upgrade from BaNCS v10 to v14 ensuring zero disruption in payment flows
- Conduct end-to-end testing across integrated systems and interfaces
- Log, track, and verify defects using standard tools
- Work closely with developers and business analysts for timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving test coverage and efficiency
