What believers are saying

  • Polamer won $80 million in new contracts by May 2025, signaling demand.
  • Hiring across CNC, quality, and program management shows active growth into 2026.
  • City-backed land purchase enables three buildings and 600-plus employees by seven years.

What critics are saying

  • One customer delay can hit utilization; aerospace contract shops live on program timing.
  • Expansion needs public subsidy and phased land acquisition, risking financing strain before 2028.
  • Any quality escape or AS9100 failure would threaten customer approvals and enterprise survival.

What makes Polamer Precision unique

  • AS9100 and ISO 9001 aerospace machining, with in-house selective plating since 2020.
  • New Britain campus expansion to 600,000 square feet anchors long-term capacity.
  • Customer stickiness from contract manufacturing for tight-tolerance aerospace parts and documentation-heavy programs.
