About the Role:
The Senior Account Executive will focus on converting existing users of the MyCarrierTMS Platform to a paid MyCarrierTMSPro subscription and other services as applicable. This position will explain the benefits and value of the MyCarrier platform through a professional and effective sales pitch, then manage the contract and pricing negotiations for the sale.
Responsibilites:
- Convert customers from their free MyCarrierTMS experience to a paid subscription
- Upsell add-ons to increase the functionality of the MyCarrierTMS platform
- Gain a complete understanding of the customer’s internal processes to develop the best solution that solves the problem within the timeframe and budget allotted
- Negotiate the pricing as well as the scope of work agreements with the customers’ leadership team
- Follow up after the solution is fully implemented to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work in a team setting to contribute towards achieving both individual and departmental goals (e.g. sales targets, assigned MRR Goal, etc.)
- Maintain a complete understanding of the MyCarrier platform and capabilities
- Stay informed of platform updates and product releases in order to be able to explain the benefits of the updates and releases.
- Complete and close out all assigned tasks within the CRM each day
- Maintain the sales pipeline by routinely recording customer engagements, appointments, and touchpoints to track progress towards closing of contracts
- Monitor and respond to customer communication received via email, phone, or voicemail in accordance with department SLAs, and follow up as needed
- Analyze internal data on completed implementations to determine ROI for various products/services and include in the sales materials
Desired Qualification:
- 3+ years of sales experience, Saas preferred
- 1+ year of experience with a CRM, HubSpot preferred
- Transportation or logistics experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Strong listening and documentation skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Strong sales presentation skills, comfortable speaking and demonstrating the product in front of large audiences
- Self-motivated and results driven mindset
- Highly proficient with computers and common software applications (MS Suite, Adobe)
