  • Graduation from an accredited program that meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
  • State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois, or authorization to practice from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation with licensure obtained within 6 months.
  • State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Wisconsin, or temporary licensure to practice with licensure obtained within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support certification, or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services for pediatric inpatient and outpatient patients.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
  • Educate patients, families, students, and co-workers.
  • Perform professional duties associated with patient care.
  • Develop therapy program services.
  • Engage with and develop interdisciplinary teams.
  • Pursue self-professional advancement.
  • Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including a rotating Saturday shift of one Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
