Responsibilities
  • Define the fundamental building blocks of the next generation Apple GPU
  • Define new micro-architectures and optimize existing ones
  • Collaborate with experienced architects, designers, and modelers
  • Analyze specific workloads across existing and new product categories to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate to improve processes and boost team productivity
Desired Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in one or more focused CPU/GPU areas (ISA development, core/shader micro-architecture, texture pipeline, caching, or memory subsystem design)
  • Experience with GPU APIs (OpenGL, OpenCL, DirectX, Metal)
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby)
  • Relevant hands-on experience with RTL or architectural modeling
