  • An associate degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
  • Completion of an accredited occupational therapy educational curriculum is required.
  • Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through the State Board of Occupational Therapy is required.
  • Maintain certification and licensure and complete all required agency, state, and federal training requirements.
  • Driving and travel may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group mental health occupational therapy services to youth and adolescents at the facility-based crisis site under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Address the occupational needs of individuals, groups, and populations by following the occupational therapist's plan of care and using person-centered and occupation-centered interventions.
  • Document interventions and progress toward goals in accordance with reimbursement and practice act standards.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate care and incorporate occupational therapy services into individual person-centered and treatment plans.
  • Educate individuals' families and natural supports about accommodating and supporting occupational engagement.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct daily group sessions.
  • Supervise ancillary staff under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and supervise Level I occupational therapy and Level II occupational therapy assistant students in compliance with state practice guidelines.
  • Attend and actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, internal and external meetings, and required trainings.
  • Maintain necessary documentation and records in a timely manner, including use of an Electronic Health Record system when applicable.
  • Comply with agency policies, procedures, and service definitions for specific programs.
  • Provide and ensure safe, confidential, comfortable, dignified care for youth in a therapeutic environment.
  • Ensure the milieu supports recovery and crisis stabilization within individuals' treatment and crisis plans.
  • Complete group documentation, progress notes, assessments, and required input for admission and discharge summaries.
  • Lead or co-lead daily youth groups on activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive and perceptual topics, family topics, and individually supported education.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist during crisis situations.
  • Complete other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with children, youth, or adolescents in a crisis setting.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-aged youth with a mental health diagnosis, intellectual or developmental disability, or substance use disorder.
  • One year of experience working with youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance.

Fontana Reports $835.9M Gross Profit Growth

Fontana Limited reported a Q3 2025 gross profit of $835.9 million, a 15.2% increase from the previous year, driven by a 15.3% rise in revenue to $2.2 billion.
