- A high school diploma or some college coursework is required.
- The candidate must graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- The candidate must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with ARDMS breast registration.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Perform appropriate patient evaluations and high-quality imaging.
- Use the PACS system.
- Set up and adjust ultrasound equipment.
- Perform ultrasound image-guided procedures.
- Perform high-level disinfection.
- Use different vendor ultrasound machines.
- Use Epic electronic medical records.
- Provide on-call shift coverage.
- Nuchal certification is preferred.
- Recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience are targeted.
- Experience in breast imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, or maternal-fetal medicine is preferred.
