Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in the same or a similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms), including bending and kneeling.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Must comply with local food-handling laws.
Responsibilities
  • Assist banquet servers in providing quality food and beverage service to guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment.
  • Stock the wares and equipment needed for service and provide coffee breaks and continental breakfasts in accordance with hotel standards and established policies and procedures.
  • Assist bartenders and cocktail servers; stock bars with designated supplies to prevent shortages for guest service; and maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with hotel standards and established policies and procedures.
