- Education: Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Proven experience in producing design documentation and test specifications.
- Proficiency with PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D Computational Fluid Dynamics software.
- UK security clearance criteria must be met.
- Analyze and calculate: Support cooling water island systems with cutting-edge analysis and calculation methods.
- Flow and thermal analyses: Perform static and transient flow and thermal analyses using advanced software tools.
- System design and integration: Assist in designing and integrating various systems.
- Documentation: Produce, review, and update system documentation.
- Control philosophy: Define control strategies for system performance.
- Component sizing: Determine the appropriate sizes for system components.
- Thermal-hydraulic modeling: Conduct thermal-hydraulic calculations and modeling.
- Equipment specifications: Formulate detailed equipment specifications.
