Location

Our Chief of Staff is an integral part of our executive team at WillowTree. To ensure the Chief of Staff can maximize their impact, this role will maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity (3 - 4 days a week) in our Charlottesville, VA HQ. 

The Opportunity

In partnership with our President, you will define the current and future state of WillowTree as the technological world advances. Through your innate intellectual curiosity, you will help pinpoint, analyze, define, and execute a variety of strategic priorities for the firm. As WillowTree continues to scale and grow under our partnership with TELUS Digital, we’re looking for someone who can leverage their technical and business acumen to collaborate with executive leadership between WillowTree and TELUS Digital.  As our Chief of Staff, you’ll be able to span all aspects of our high-growth digital consulting firm while representing our core values. 

Responsibilities

• Leading the charge in the growth and expansion of WillowTree service offerings through knowledge of industry trends, competitive market analysis, and client demand analysis
• Program management for strategic initiatives critical to WillowTree’s growth, including office expansions, M&A, new geography expansion, cross-entity partnerships, etc.
• Managing our post-merger partnership growth with TELUS Digital and organic/inorganic growth opportunities
• Individual thinker who can be a sounding board for innovation with the President
• Actively intellectually curious about the technological evolution in our industry and how it impacts our firm 
• Successful partner across executive leadership at WillowTree and TELUS Digital to drive ideas towards implementation 

Competencies

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with clients in top-tier management consulting (Deloitte, Accenture, Bain, BCG, etc.)
  • 2+ years of digital product professional experience OR Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Skills:
  • Strong delivery and communication skills, including comfort with presenting to Fortune 500 clients
  • Knowledge and expertise related to the digital marketplace and economic trends
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to distill the CEO’s message in succinct and tactful ways
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence at all levels across the company including our clients
