Requirements
  • A BA degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with persons who are seriously and persistently mentally ill under the supervision of a certified rehabilitation counselor.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to research material via the internet.
Responsibilities
  • Integrate vocational goals and services with the tasks of all ACT Team members.
  • Assist through all phases of vocational service provision.
  • Perform routine clinical services as a member of the ACT Team.
  • Take responsibility for recipients and charting services.
  • Create part or all of the service plan.
  • Ensure revisions to the plan as the participant’s needs change.
  • Advocate for the rights and preferences of the participant whenever possible.
  • Provide rehabilitative services and consultation as a member of a mobile multidisciplinary treatment team; the role consists of 80% field work and travel to clients’ homes and other required settings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of human services.
  • A valid driver’s license.
