Founded in 2023 by Mark Hughes and Patrick Finlay, Solidroad aims to revolutionize enterprise training with its AI-driven solutions. The funding will be used to expand the team, accelerate product development, and enhance AI capabilities. Solidroad's platform, likened to a "flight-simulator" for customer-facing teams, is already used by clients like ActiveCampaign, Ryanair, and Three Mobile.

Irish startup Solidroad, part of Y Combinator, has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round led by First Round Capital.
Irish AI start-up Solidroad has been selected for the prestigious Y Combinator accelerator program. As part of the program, Solidroad will receive a $500k investment. Earlier this year, the company raised $1.2 million from well-known Irish angel investors.
The funds will be used to expand Solidroad’s team, accelerate product development, and advancement of AI capabilities.
