Requirements
  • Be a registered nurse with a current license in the state of residence.
  • Have 3–5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare.
  • Have experience with Medicaid and Medicare regulations and reimbursement.
  • Have a strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Be able to work independently and travel frequently.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, strong decision-making, and time-management skills.
  • Be highly proficient with technology and digital platforms.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement.
  • Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals.
  • Manage operational budgets with full profit-and-loss responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance.
  • Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership.

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
