Responsibilities
  • Forecast future requirements and pricing for assigned commodities
  • Utilize competitive quoting to improve Total Cost of Ownership
  • Evaluate the supply chain to maintain a high standard of purchased value
  • Recover funds related to non-conforming material and warranty
  • Drive improvement to key metrics like OTD/OTP, PPM, Lead-time, Pay Terms
  • Maintain the relationship between Auburn Ops and the supplier
  • Responsible for invoice reconciliation for on-time payment to supply base
  • Collaborate with Xylem Global Procurement on strategic sourcing activities
  • Engage and support Purchasing Specialists and Inventory Analysts
  • Participate and support Xylem new product development programs
  • Embrace continuous improvement ideas and methodologies
  • Control purchase order execution for the facility
  • Develop accurate inventory forecasts
