Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare, orthotics and prosthetics distribution, or a related field support area is required.
  • Two years of supervisory experience are required.
  • Gather and assimilate accurate information and different perspectives.
  • Experience leading service system implementation, such as MRP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical skills, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with call center customer relationship management (CRM) utilization and call center phone systems.
  • Understanding of live chat and other digital communication methods.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure excellence in customer service delivery within Hanger's Orthotic and Prosthetic Custom Fabrication business.
  • Define and manage the implementation and execution of Customer Support programs and policies, ensuring consistent workflow, communication standards, and response protocols for internal and external customers.
  • Serve as a customer-facing leader and escalation point for service issues, and build and lead a high-performing remote service team.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a remote customer service team to deliver excellent customer interactions and support.
  • Define and manage key performance indicators and metrics to monitor team efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service quality outcomes.
  • Act as the primary internal liaison between internal and external customers and clinical staff, triaging incoming orthotic and prosthetic devices for fabrication and coordinating job adjustments and submissions.
  • Manage Return Authorization triage, creating documented pathways and paperwork to support clinical review and processing.
  • Manage various channels of customer communication.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and tools to enhance customer service operations, team collaboration, and overall efficiency.
  • Act with integrity, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.
  • Keep the patient at the center of work, building lifelong trust.
  • Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue.
  • Continuously innovate solutions and influence and respond to change.
  • Focus on superior outcomes and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.

Hanger acquires Liberating Technologies to advance prosthetic research and development

Hanger, Inc., a leading orthotic and prosthetic patient care provider, has acquired Liberating Technologies, Inc. (LTI), a research organisation founded in 2000 and previously owned by Coapt. LTI's research team has secured numerous government-funded grants since 2008 to develop next-generation technologies for the orthotic and prosthetic field. LTI will join Hanger Ventures and the Hanger Institute for Clinical Research and Education to drive innovation in clinical care. The team will continue current grant-funded initiatives, including advancing voice-recognition technology for prosthesis control and developing socket cooling systems for residual limb skin health. Hanger acquired Coapt, LTI's previous owner, in 2025. With this acquisition, the complete Coapt portfolio now belongs to Hanger, which operates more than 925 clinic locations across the United States.
