Requirements
  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another related field
  • 10+ years of industry experience in systems engineering, software engineering, data analysis, data science, statistical analysis, or other related disciplines
  • You have experience working with large datasets, SQL and Python
  • You are adaptable and can operate under ambiguity
  • You have strong technical and non-technical communication skills
  • You have strong critical thinking skills - you can interpret what the data is telling us, and which analyses will reveal impactful conclusions
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a scalable and automated system readiness approach for the autonomy systems, driving behaviors and their ecosystem to support driverless expansion goals
  • Work cross functionally and partner with Program Office, Systems Architects, SW Engineers, Product Management and Operations to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap of autonomous systems and driving behaviors for new vehicle programs and operational domains
  • Drive technical and program roadmaps consistent with our ambitious company scaling and growth goals on 1+ year timelines
  • Empower Systems Engineers on the team, acting as a mentor as needed
  • Principal technical contact for driving behavior & system integration requirements and validation scaling approach
  • Balance technical and analytical insights with intuition to formulate compelling resource strategies while adjusting quickly to new information
  • Maintain a high-quality bar in projects from the start and champion quality improvements by implementing better technical practices
