Analyst, Real Estate Asset Management

Cadre is seeking an Analyst to assist in all asset management functions across the Cadre Fund portfolio. You will aid in the execution of the business plan, support the day-to-day responsibilities of the asset management team, and implement systems and tools designed to optimize the operational workflow of Cadre’s real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong command of real estate fundamentals with exceptional financial modeling abilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform detailed financial analysis and prepare periodical asset management reports
- Review monthly operating reports to help track operating performance, operating budget variances, and significant changes in the assets and their respective markets
- Engage in monthly calls and meetings with operating partners to review asset performance and adherence to business plan
- Create and update financial models and analyses including: Argus, valuation, and re-underwriting models
- Create templates designed to operationalize the gathering and movement of property level data
- Research market statistics including leasing, sales, and demographic information in conjunction with Cadre’s data science program
- Assist in generating quarterly reports and investor updates
- Help to build new asset management models and performance tracking tools across asset classes
- Collaborate closely with acquisitions, product engineering, and investor relations teams on all aspects of the portfolio.
- Generate reports for internal and external use
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, or similar roles
- Exceptional Excel modeling skills
- Command of real estate specific financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, rent roll, etc.)
- Knowledge of relational databases a plus
- Comprehension of real estate fundamentals and terminology
- High energy individual with an ability to work efficiently with little supervision
- A heightened attention to detail – must be meticulous and consistently accurate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Ability to take risks and accept failure

Compensation:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - 120,000 (Actual salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Compensation package also includes generous, bonus, benefits and equity.
