Requirements
  • One to three years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of industrial electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, carpentry, painting, exterior maintenance, and routine inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients to address concerns and explain repairs.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
  • Install and remove covers and inspection plates.
  • Adjust bearings, ways, and belts; dismantle equipment; and store equipment as directed.
  • Service and maintain guard rails, casters, and wheels.
  • Assemble parts into complete assemblies, including building benches, parts, and racks; fabricate on equipment by cutting material to size, drilling holes, and threading pipe as directed.
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment by operating lift trucks.
  • Properly dispose of waste.
  • Make minor repairs on equipment and check functionality after repair.
  • Assist Maintenance A and Maintenance General Mechanics in other fields incidental and necessary to completing an assigned task.
  • Perform rework, repair, and other associated operations relating to the described work.
  • Follow senior policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior plc awarded multi year Airbus contract for aerospace components. Senior plc (LON:SNR), an international manufacturer of high technology components and systems, has announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract by Airbus for the design, qualification and manufacture of various highly engineered Aerospace Standard parts for fluid conveyance applications. The initial production will supply components for both dual and single aisle commercial aircraft platforms, with significant further potential in the spares and repairs markets. Delivery will begin in Q1 2026, from Senior's facilities in Europe. This contract highlights Senior's expertise in designing and producing complex, highly engineered, aerospace components, as well as its ability to secure major business with leading airframers. This award reinforces Senior's strong and extensive experience in product design and qualification, and continued investment in advanced manufacturing technologies. These new product lines will further enhance Senior's capabilities in pressed, formed, and highly engineered standard components. Commenting on the award, Launie Fleming, CEO of Senior Aerospace: "Our teams in Europe have been working hard to develop and qualify these highly engineered standard parts that have multiple applications across the commercial aircraft business of Airbus.
