Requirements
  • Minimum one year of warehouse experience and familiarity with the order-picking process.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms regularly and up to 85 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to perform bending, lifting, and reaching during the shift.
  • Ability to tolerate outdoor working conditions.
  • Must have own steel-toed boots.
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Unload building material supplies safely and promptly from delivery trucks and properly place them in the warehouse.
  • Accurately, efficiently, and safely pick and assemble customer orders.
  • Process receiving tallies and packing slips without delay.
  • Assist customers by loading orders onto delivery trucks.
  • Conduct spot inventory counts.
  • Receive and restock inventory returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Adhere to all work safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to customer service commitments.

Doman Building Materials posts $3.1B revenue, up 17%, EBITDA surges 33%

Doman Building Materials Group reported annual revenue of $3.12 billion for 2025, up 17.1% from $2.66 billion in 2024. The Canadian building materials distributor achieved a gross margin of 16.2% and EBITDA of $256.4 million, representing a 33.4% increase year-over-year. Net earnings rose to $80.3 million from $54.2 million in 2024. The company generated $163.6 million in cash flow from operating activities and paid $49 million in dividends throughout the year, maintaining a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share. However, expenses increased 13.9% to $349.1 million due to inflationary pressures and acquisition costs. Finance costs rose by $19.1 million to $72.9 million. The company attributed strong performance to effective margin enhancement strategies, including improved lumber positioning and freight optimisation technology.
