Responsibilities
Supervise Quality Assurance Inspectors and work with production to meet deadlines.
Handle customer returns and perform other duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Serve as the second in command within the Quality organization, providing leadership and support for Quality Systems, inspection of finished goods, the New Product Development Launch Process, and on-time delivery and safety.
Create, revise, and remove Standard Operating Procedures as the Standard Operating Procedure Administrator.
Investigate and determine root causes of out-of-specification products and customer complaints, and recommend corrective measures.
Coordinate with the audit team and vendors to implement corrective actions; maintain historical records of customer complaints and corrective actions; and report findings to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Supervise Quality Assurance Inspectors to ensure products are tested using the appropriate analytical method and report issues accurately and promptly.
Coordinate outside analytical laboratory activities, including providing samples, defining tests, reviewing laboratory reports, and communicating pass/fail results against acceptance criteria.
Maintain consistent manufacturing quality standards to meet customer needs.
Manage performance for the Quality Department.
Use flow charts, check sheets, cause-and-effect diagrams, graphs, and control charts to validate and analyze quality data for recommendations.
Provide feedback to manufacturing personnel based on customer comments, internal and external measurement status, and audit results.

Job Description: Quality Assurance Supervisor Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Summary: Quality Supervisor position is a key role supporting the Quality Assurance Manager with primary responsibilities to maintain, update, develop and improve quality systems to ensure our customers’ expectations are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Quality Supervisor will supervise Quality inspectors, work with production to meet deadlines, handle customer returns and perform other duties as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager.
Serve as the “Second in Command” with the Quality Organization providing leadership and support for the four key pillars of our Quality Program: 1.) Quality Systems, 2.) Inspection of finished goods, 3.) New Product Development Launch Process, 4.) OTD/Safety
Serve as the SOP Administrator for creating, revising or removing Standard Operating Procedures from our environment.
Investigate & determine root causes out of specification product and customer complaints and recommend corrective measures.
Coordinate with the audit team and vendor to implement corrective action. Maintain a historical record of all customer complaints and corrective action and report all findings to the Manager.
Supervise the team of Quality Assurance Inspectors ensuring product is being tested based on the appropriate Analytical Method and report issues timely and accurately. This work supports ongoing Production as well as new product qualifications.
Coordinate the activities of any outside Analytical Laboratories including providing samples, defining the specific tests to be conducted, reviewing the laboratory reports, and communicating the test results internally regarding whether the material passed or failed to meet the acceptance criteria.

Skills & Qualifications:
Experienced in blueprint reading (There will be a test upon interviewing)
Quality Management experience required
Knowledge of regulatory requirements. ISO9001 & AS9100

Compensation:
$60-70K/annually DOE
