ProShares Business Intelligence Summer Internship Program

Overview

• ProShares’ summer internship program is for rising seniors whose studies are concentrated in related fields (computer science, data analytics, finance, engineering, etc.)
• The program will run for 9 weeks, June 17^th – August 16^th
• It is a full-time, paid internship working on a hybrid basis out of our Bethesda, MD headquarters.
• Interns will report into the ProShares’ business intelligence team, which is the centralized data and analytics hub for the entire organization. This arrangement will provide exposure to senior leadership across a broad array of departments including: Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance
  • Over the course of the program, their primary focus will be contributing to two, high-priority projects:
    • Exploring AI applications in asset management
    • Building an ML model to enhance sales targeting
  • This program provides undergraduates a unique opportunity to leverage the experience and skills they’ve developed through course-work and make substantial contributions to a $70 billion asset manager that has been at the forefront of the ETF revolution since 2006.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in classes, pursuing in a BS program or higher
• A track record of outstanding academic performance
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Preference to:
  • Experience using data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire
  • Experience using a query or programing language: SQL, Python or R
