Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in Services Procurement
  • Sourcing Strategy, including demonstrated ability complete category strategies
  • Supplier Relationship Management and Analysis
  • Experience negotiating and implementing rate cards with suppliers
  • Experience with negotiating large engagements
  • Experience navigating complex governance processes (risk, spend approval, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive 2nd level insights from unstructured data
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret spend and cost data, including understanding of Total Cost of Ownership
  • Experience using different negotiation tactics; proven success negotiating multi-million dollar contracts
  • Experience supporting legal teams in contract development activities, including knowledge of standard contract structures and key terms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including advanced level PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience to think Globally and work with an international culturally-diverse team
  • Passion for the NIKE brand
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs
Responsibilities
  • Work with a cross functional team leading category strategies, category implementation, collaborator engagement and supplier management
  • Define scope of the category and derive insights from global and regional enterprise strategic planning and business driver analysis
  • Synthesize industry trends, import external insights, conduct effective benchmarking, develop enterprise strategies for optimized sourcing of services from various sources, and deliver global category strategy fits global and regional category needs
  • Drive implementation of complex, multi-regional strategies through global/geo partnerships
  • Identify and deliver initiatives/saving pipelines through internal and external partnerships that aligns with category strategies
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of buying channel, Plan-to-Pay, and negotiation of commercial terms
