Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of banking experience or relevant work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services is required.
  • Customer service skills, supervisory and coaching skills, attention to detail and accuracy, basic computer skills, organization, multitasking, and sound judgment are required.
  • NMLS certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach customer service representative staff and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Maintain primary responsibility for settlement of vault cash, ATM, night deposits, and branch cash needs according to bank policies and procedures.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and complete all required forms.
  • Perform customer-requested account maintenance, including address changes, identification updates, card ordering, and check ordering.
  • Assist customers with complex customer service issues and questions and coordinate with organizational areas to resolve requests.
  • Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services, including investments and residential lending.
  • Open personal and business accounts in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Participate in new customer relationship onboarding calls and prescribed network-wide outbound call campaigns.
  • Organize work to facilitate timely and accurate end-of-day transaction balancing.
  • Provide customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Use the customer relationship management system to document customer conversations and send referrals to other departments, and encourage direct reports to use the system.
  • Complete operations and compliance activities, including currency transaction reports, cash audits, cash box difference monitoring, and offline balancing.
  • Conduct wire transfers and supervisor overrides according to proper procedures.
  • Complete annual compliance and job-related training and comply with applicable regulations, bank policies, privacy standards, and ethics standards.
  • Maintain contact with branch team members and bank teams regarding products, services, policies, procedures, and changes.
  • Represent the bank through community involvement and volunteerism.
  • Work in a traditional branch office environment and work at least two Saturdays per month.
