About the job
- A degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university program in finance or law is required.
- At least 7 years of significant successful experience in financial consulting, restructuring consulting, transaction services with restructuring experience, or a judicial administrator's office is required.
- Excellent command of financial and legal issues affecting companies in difficulty, including the law governing amicable and collective proceedings, is required.
- Good command of Excel and databook preparation is required.
- Strong analytical ability, strategic thinking, rigor, and the ability to engage with complex matters are required.
- A strong interest in business development, confirmed leadership, and interpersonal ease are required.
- Lead the deployment and management of the restructuring and business-distress prevention activity for the Eastern Region.
- Intervene in complex business transformation and turnaround situations.
- Perform financial diagnostics and independent business reviews.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of amicable and collective proceedings, including financial reporting during the observation period, negotiations with banks and financial partners, and support during court hearings.
- Support exit solutions, including safeguard plans, turnaround plans, and conciliation agreements.
- Lead and develop a regional team with support from experts in the national network.
- Supervise team work and ensure the quality of client support delivered.
- Lead presentations and restitution meetings for clients and proceeding bodies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and risk-management rules.
- Develop the network of local internal and external referrers and maintain the commercial momentum of the activity.
- A recognized network in restructuring, including courts, judicial administrators, lawyers, and investment funds, would be an advantage.
