About the Company

Saputo

Global dairy processor expanding through acquisitions

Saputo is a global dairy processor producing cheese (including mozzarella), milk, and other dairy ingredients for retail, foodservice, and industrial customers. It grew from a Montreal family operation into a multinational company by acquiring regional dairies and expanding into the United States and other countries, and it went public in 1997 to fund further growth. Its competitive edge comes from its long heritage and a disciplined growth strategy that built a geographically diverse footprint across Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia, and the UK. The goal is to be a leading, globally trusted dairy supplier by leveraging scale, integration, and a steady pipeline of acquisitions to serve customers worldwide.
