Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • BlueWave advanced 14 projects into construction in 2025, signaling strong delivery momentum.
  • July 8, 2026 impact report showed 13 agrivoltaic projects under construction.
  • BlueWave hired Becky Limmer on April 1, 2026, strengthening regulatory and transactional execution.

What critics are saying

  • Northfield denial shows local opposition; BlueWave faces repeated permitting fights through 2026.
  • Only 10 operational projects generated 50,000 MWh; scale remains small versus ambitious pipeline.
  • Any adverse Massachusetts or New York zoning ruling would stall gigawatt ambitions and Axium returns.

What makes BlueWave unique

  • BlueWave pairs solar, storage, and agrivoltaics across Maine, Massachusetts, and New York.
  • Axium-backed BlueWave closed $247 million facilities in July 2025, funding pipeline execution.
  • BlueWave won May 5, 2026 Northfield remand, proving legal sophistication in permitting.
