Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience, including a meaningful stint in strategy consulting.
  • Familiarity with how pharma and biotech business development, alliance, or procurement functions operate.
  • Direct experience with closing data access deals or developing royalty- or milestone-based co-development term sheets.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-stakeholder projects with long timelines and moving parts.
  • Clear, structured communication that allows you to synthesize a complex deal status into a concise update for a senior audience and credibly represent an organization externally.
  • A proven track record of independently drafting documents, managing customer relationship management systems, and coordinating across stakeholders without a support layer.
  • Empathy when working with marginalized populations.
  • A patient-focused approach and motivation to create lasting positive impact.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with rapid change.
  • An action-oriented approach and willingness to build a company from the ground up.
Responsibilities
  • Own the data access and co-development pipeline, including setting cadences, running calls, drafting follow-ups, and ensuring every client conversation remains warm and progresses.
  • Develop a repeatable deal coordination playbook that scales as the partner portfolio grows across data access and co-development deals.
  • Serve as an organized, responsive point of contact for biopharma and biotech partners between senior-level touchpoints, ensuring all follow-up is completed.
  • Design and run partner-facing education programs that help counterparts understand the company's data, patient cohort capabilities, and co-development model.
  • Build and maintain commercial infrastructure, including pricing documentation, access term frameworks, deal templates, and onboarding materials for new partners.
  • Maintain customer relationship management hygiene across partner accounts by logging interactions, tracking deal stages, flagging risks, and preparing briefing materials ahead of senior meetings.
  • Coordinate preparation of data packages tailored to specific partner indications and cohort priorities, working cross-functionally to assemble the appropriate content.
  • Support statement of work and data access agreement drafting by organizing templates, tracking redlines, and managing version control across active negotiations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience specifically in rare or genetic diseases, genomics, or precision medicine data, or exposure to patient registry or real-world data products.
  • Prior experience at a startup or in a role where you built entire commercial infrastructures from scratch.

Probably Genetic offers free at-home genetic testing for people with rare diseases. Patients collect a DNA sample at home, mail it in, and receive physician-reviewed results with genetic counseling and a clinical genetic report. The company funds the tests itself and keeps the data; after de-identification, the aggregated data is sold to research institutions and pharmaceutical companies. Its goal is to help patients get timely diagnoses while funding the program through data-driven partnerships to advance rare-disease research.

Calm/Storm: 4,5 Mio. Euro 2023 Investiert – Und 2024 Kann Noch Einmal Blutig Werden
