Junior Backend Python Programmer
About the job
- At least 2 and fewer than 8 years of experience in information technology.
- Experience developing with Python.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and databases.
- Interest in cloud environments and DevOps.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team.
- Rigor in testing, documentation, and code quality.
- Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, and backend services.
- Knowledge of Git or an equivalent version-control tool.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
- Basic knowledge of databases.
- Knowledge of backend development practices.
- Knowledge of Python 3.11 or later and FastAPI or a comparable framework.
- Knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus.
- Knowledge of Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of microservices.
- The assignment may be contractual or through a resource bank, depending on client needs.
- Primarily remote work, with availability to coordinate according to intervention requests.
- Develop backend services in Python under supervision.
- Correct backend application defects.
- Participate in developing or integrating REST APIs.
- Participate in unit and integration testing.
- Support application maintenance activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Apply development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior developers, analysts, and architects.
