About the company

Precoat Metals (now part of AZZ Incorporated) provides metal coating services, especially coil coating, as part of AZZ’s broader focus on protecting steel and extending infrastructure life. Its products include coated steel coils, which are made by applying protective coatings (paints, finishes) to rolled steel coils and curing them for use in construction and industrial applications. AZZ also offers hot-dip galvanizing and related protective coatings for infrastructure, combining coating and galvanizing to prevent corrosion. The company differentiates itself through a growth-driven path powered by acquisitions, a broad North American footprint, and a specific focus on metal coatings and galvanizing for critical infrastructure, rather than general metal services. Its goal is to be a leading provider of metal coatings and galvanizing solutions for critical infrastructure across industries and regions.
