Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline, or one year of related experience substituted for each year of education.
  • At least five years of experience developing, designing, and administering successful energy efficiency and demand reduction programs for utilities, state energy offices, state or local governments, regional nonprofits, or related organizations.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Implement programs through detailed management plans, quality control, and evaluation processes.
  • Supervise direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of technical and marketing specialists, including internal staff and subcontractors, to meet program goals.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships through in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Assist with program forecasts, budgets, and goals.
  • Analyze market trends and technologies to enhance program performance.
  • Coordinate with regional and national teams to align strategies and share best practices.
  • Oversee daily operations of program staff.
  • Drive adoption of energy-efficient technologies by leveraging market knowledge and stakeholder relationships.
  • Track progress and report results internally and to the client.
  • Travel locally within Georgia up to 30% for client meetings and program events.

  • Critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
