Requirements
  • 6+ years’ experience in product marketing, product management, or business development within semiconductors, energy, or industrial systems.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategy, roadmap, and business cases that drive revenue growth.
  • Experience engaging with customers and ecosystem partners to identify needs and influence product direction.
  • Technical background in electrical engineering or related field, with ability to engage on system architecture and trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to operate cross-functionally in a global organisation.
  • International travel will be required (15% of time).

Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target application space, including grid monitoring, behind-the-meter assets, DER, and electrification infrastructure, translating market trends and regulatory drivers into actionable opportunities.
  • Develop clear market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), segmentation, and competitive positioning to guide investment decisions.
  • Define product and system-level requirements based on customer and application needs, shaping roadmap and long-term investment priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to drive trade-offs across performance, cost, and time-to-market.
  • Build and own business cases, including revenue forecasts, pipeline development, and opportunity tracking.
  • Identify lighthouse customers and strategic engagements to validate solutions and accelerate adoption.
  • Engage directly with key customers (OEMs, partners) to validate needs and build long-term relationships that drive design wins.
  • Act as a domain expert in customer interactions, translating system challenges into product solutions.
  • Develop clear value propositions and messaging that translate technical capability into customer value across energy use cases.
  • Lead product launches, sales enablement, and market engagement activities in collaboration with marketing and field teams.
  • Work across product lines, applications, software, and sales to align roadmap and execution.
  • Provide structured market feedback to influence product development and strategy.

Analog Devices prices $3B senior notes offering across four tranches

Analog Devices has priced a $3 billion senior notes offering, closing on 17 September 2026, according to an SEC filing. The offering comprises four tranches: $500 million of 5.100% notes due 2029, $500 million of 5.350% notes due 2031, $1 billion of 5.600% notes due 2033, and $1 billion of 5.750% notes due 2036. J.P. Morgan Securities served as representative of the underwriters. The notes are unsecured and rank equally with the company's existing senior indebtedness. The weighted average coupon across the four tranches is approximately 5.57%, implying annual pre-tax interest expense of roughly $167 million. The filing does not disclose the intended use of proceeds.

Cadence Tensilica IP powers Analog Devices' next-gen automotive audio DSP with 5X performance boost

Cadence has announced a collaboration with Analog Devices to develop the latest generation of SHARC automotive audio processors. The partnership integrates Cadence's Tensilica DSP architecture into ADI's ADSP product family, enabling enhanced audio experiences and AI capabilities for automotive platforms. ADI is introducing the ADSP-SC84x/2184x platform, featuring the new SHARC-FX processor core developed jointly with Cadence. Built on 16nm process technology, the platform delivers five times higher performance compared to the previous generation. The SHARC-FX core supports AI-driven audio processing, including noise cancellation and voice assistance. The processors power various automotive applications, including advanced driver alerts, road noise cancellation, immersive 3D audio, and voice processing. The architecture enables on-chip AI workloads whilst maintaining real-time performance for safety-critical automotive systems.

Analog Devices acquires Alif Semiconductor for $1.35B to advance AI-native edge processing

Analog Devices will acquire Alif Semiconductor for $1.35 billion in cash, with a potential additional $200 million in contingent payments. The deal, expected to close before the end of 2026, aims to advance what ADI calls "Physical Intelligence" — systems that sense, reason, and act locally in real time. Alif provides AI-native microcontrollers and fusion processors designed for edge intelligence. The acquisition will combine Alif's digital processing platform with ADI's analog capabilities in sensing, signal processing, power, and connectivity. The merger targets applications across industrial, data center infrastructure, defence, energy, robotics, digital health, and wearables. Alif's silicon is already shipping to production customers. ADI shares drop 5.6% in a month amid premium valuation, but data centre and industrial strength drive margin expansion
