About the Company

Leman Academy of Excellence

Public charter K-8 school with preschool

Leman Academy operates tuition-free public charter schools for grades K-8 in Arizona and Colorado, with open admission and no entrance exams, plus tuition-based preschool at select locations. It delivers a standard K-8 curriculum paired with character education inspired by Dr. Kevin Leman, funded by public sources for the charter and by preschool fees. It differs from many competitors by offering a continuum from early childhood through middle childhood focused on both academics and personal growth, supported by a mix of public funding and preschool revenue. Its goal is to help students grow academically and morally in a positive, engaged learning environment, where teachers and administrators support each student’s well-being and success.
