Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, test, and validate failed components received from production.
  • Inspect computer and server components, including motherboards, central processing units, dual in-line memory modules, solid-state drives, network interface cards, power supplies, and other field-replaceable units.
  • Identify physical damage, component failures, manufacturing defects, and other failure conditions.
  • Determine the appropriate disposition of components, including defective, no trouble found/no fault found, vendor damage, customer damage, or scrap.
  • Install and remove components and operate test equipment or test systems as required.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and interpret test results, error messages, logs, and failure codes.
  • Record serial numbers, part numbers, failure descriptions, test results, and component dispositions accurately.
  • Maintain and update material review board systems, reports, and databases, including SAP, RMSC, manufacturing execution systems, or similar manufacturing and quality systems.
  • Follow electrostatic discharge safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized, and controlled work environment.
  • Prioritize high-value and production-critical material to support production and quality goals.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve component failures and support customer satisfaction.

Chinese firms hit record overseas revenue on AI demand and EV expansion

Chinese companies reached record overseas revenue in 2025, led by PetroChina, Foxconn Industrial Internet, BYD and Luxshare Precision Industry. PetroChina's overseas crude output rose 1.8% to nearly 168 million barrels, whilst FII reported 56% of revenue from mainland factories and over one-third from its Mexico plant.
