Requirements
  • A combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years technical experience with large transport aircraft. (A319/A320 & 737 Next Gen/MAX preferred.)
  • Minimum five (5) years Technical/Managing Maintenance Programs for large transport aircraft. (A319/A320 & 737 Next Gen/MAX preferred.)
  • Understanding of Airbus and Boeing technical manuals and data.
  • Understanding of statistical reports and analysis.
  • Proficiency in written/oral communications, research and analytical skills.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan for maintenance operational needs to meet short and long-term goals and strategies.
  • Ability to work with people at all skill levels, internal and external, while possessing excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
  • Team Member may be required to work various days and shifts.
  • Team member may be required to be on-call for afterhours/weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all daily aspects of technical fleet management for all Aircraft fleet types.
  • Develop and implement procedures to assure a safe, legal, efficient and cost-effective operation of the fleet.
  • Coordinate directly with Technical Fleet Management, Maintenance Control, Materials, Engineering, Reliability, CASS, and Flight Operations.
  • Coordinate directly with aircraft and component manufacturers and repair vendors.
  • Develop, coordinate, and provide resolution for immediate, repetitive, and emerging technical issues.
  • Participate in industry conferences and workshops.
  • Provide responses to FAA inquiries.
  • Field questions from the line stations.
  • Review Flight Crew and Cabin Crew incident reports.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Uphold our commitment to our customer service and Allegiant values.
  • Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
