IT Support Specialist
About the job
- High school diploma or GED.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
- Experience supporting hardware, software, and basic networking.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record; occasional travel is required.
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP is preferred.
- Familiarity with distribution, warehouse, or branch operations is preferred.
- Provide timely, high-quality support for hardware, software, networking, and phone systems.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, or escalate them to the appropriate IT team members.
- Support business applications, including Epicor Eclipse enterprise resource planning software.
- Assist employees with day-to-day technical needs and questions.
- Set up, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripheral equipment.
- Relocate and install equipment across branches as needed.
- Partner with branch teams to resolve system or hardware issues.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware and software support.
- Track, document, and follow up on IT support tickets and projects.
- Identify trends in recurring issues and help implement long-term solutions.
- Assist in developing IT procedures, documentation, and user guides.
- Support IT projects and system improvements as assigned.
- Provide office and on-site support across multiple branch locations; travel occasionally.
- Stand, lift equipment, and remain on their feet throughout the day as required.
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP.
