Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Wing/Group Electronic Flight Bag Manager in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and liaise directly with the AFGSC/A3TV Program Manager.
Act as the Electronic Flight Bag system administrator using BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management to configure, track, issue, and maintain mobile devices.
Manage the ForeFlight administrative account, add and delete users, and ensure proper worldwide Flight Information Publication configuration.
Collaborate with the Stan/Eval Technical Order Distribution Officer to ensure all Electronic Flight Bag standalone computers contain current Technical Orders, Flight Crew Information Files, and Special Interest Items.
Manage commercial internet services required for Electronic Flight Bag connectivity and coordinate repairs directly with the Internet Service Provider.
Act as equipment custodian for all Electronic Flight Bag hardware, including tablets, battery extenders, faraday bags, and lithium fire-bag kits, and execute device inventory, enrollment, and hardware-refresh rollouts.
Generate annual Electronic Flight Bag Audit and Sustainment reports and decommission obsolete equipment.

The EFB Program Manager operates at the intersection of aircrew operations, IT communications, and security directives. This individual manages the software, hardware, and strict security compliance for mobile devices utilized by bomber aircrews to ensure all safety-of-flight publications are current and accessible.
