Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of data engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines
  • Proficient in SQL, database design, and optimization techniques
  • Proficiency in Python and Databricks is a plus
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based data storage and processing solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure and Snowflake)
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative development practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Interest in performing other tasks such as data analysis and data validation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts of gathering, processing, and making pricing data available for software development projects and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure data infrastructure meets project needs
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store pricing data from various sources
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of databases, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
  • Evaluate and implement advanced data engineering technologies to enhance the efficiency and scalability of data processing
  • Provide strategic guidance on data architecture and contribute to the overall data governance framework
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering
