Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Foreign Exchange, Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Business Banking, Retail Banking, or Financial Services sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, onboard and develop relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Understanding of foreign exchange markets, international payments, and cross-border banking solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage both clients and internal business partners.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience using Excel, CRM platforms, and sales pipeline management tools.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new FX opportunities across Consumer, Wealth, Small Business, and Business Banking segments through internal referrals, portfolio reviews, market intelligence, and outbound sales activities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients with cross-border payment, foreign currency, and international banking needs.
  • Identify opportunities among clients involved in international trade, overseas real estate transactions, foreign investments, international education expenses, family support payments, and other global financial activities.
  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns and business development initiatives designed to generate qualified opportunities and expand FX penetration.
  • Support efforts to acquire both new-to-bank relationships and deepen existing client relationships through additional FX and international payment solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, discovery calls, and sales presentations alongside senior FX sales professionals.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand international business and personal banking needs, identify opportunities, and present appropriate FX solutions.
  • Assist with the sales process from opportunity identification through transaction execution and relationship expansion.
  • Support foreign exchange transactions, including spot contracts, forward contracts, currency orders, and cross-border payment solutions.
  • Help coordinate onboarding activities, documentation requirements, product implementation, and trade readiness efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with branch leadership, wealth advisors, business bankers, small business specialists, and treasury partners.
  • Increase awareness of foreign exchange solutions across referral channels through ongoing education, training, and joint calling efforts.
  • Assist in developing and executing partner engagement strategies designed to increase referral activity and FX market penetration.
  • Deliver presentations, market updates, and educational sessions that help partners identify clients with international banking needs.
  • Support regional and national initiatives focused on expanding FX capabilities throughout the Consumer, Affluent Wealth, and Small and Business Banking organization.
  • Develop expertise in foreign exchange markets, currency trends, international payment solutions, and global economic developments.
  • Monitor market activity and communicate relevant foreign exchange insights to clients and internal partners.
  • Explain foreign exchange products and market developments in a clear, practical manner that supports client decision-making.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging international payment opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Trading, Operations, Treasury Management, Credit, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, execution and support.
  • Assist with transaction processing, payment investigations, client service requests, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate client records, opportunity tracking, pipeline reporting, and CRM documentation.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with U.S. Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling or supporting foreign exchange, treasury management, payments, or international banking solutions.
  • Knowledge of Spot FX, Forward Contracts, Cross-Border Payments, Currency Orders, and related products.
  • Experience working with branch networks, wealth management teams, small business bankers, or commercial banking partners.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, Power BI, and lead generation lists.
  • Proven success generating opportunities through prospecting, referral development, and relationship-based sales.
  • Interest in global markets and international commerce.

US Bank has appointed Alan Flanagan as head of Global Investment Services, overseeing Global Fund Services and Global Corporate Trust. U.S. Bank raises $5.7B in tax credit syndications for affordable housing and clean energy

U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance raised $5.7 billion in third-party capital through tax credit syndications in 2025, the highest annual total in the company's history. The investments came from 58 institutional investors across 109 transactions, financing affordable housing, renewable energy and economic development projects. The 2025 syndications financed 6,812 affordable housing units across 19 states, renewable energy generation capacity of 4.4 GW, battery storage capacity of 0.8 GW, and 129 economic development projects. U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance also surpassed $7 billion in tax credit transfers since 2023, reflecting growing demand for this investment vehicle introduced under the Inflation Reduction Act. Since inception, the company has raised $28 billion in federal tax credit capital from 183 investors across more than 400 funds.
