About the Job

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in construction administration, project controls, document control, or project coordination; data center or mission-critical project experience is ideal.
  • Working knowledge of construction schedules, including critical path method, milestones, float, and lookahead planning.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation workflows, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project, plus documentation and collaboration platforms such as Procore, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Jira, or Monday.com.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, including building trackers, pivots, and reporting views.
  • Basic understanding of MEP systems and construction sequencing sufficient to interpret technical documents and ask relevant questions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to data center sites, approximately 15%, for turnover, closeout, or program milestones.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and consistency.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in project delivery, documentation standards, and reporting practices.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and distill contractor schedules into milestone and executive-level views, including critical path and float analysis.
  • Proven ownership of drawing registers, submittal and RFI logs, revision control, transmittals, as-built documentation, and closeout documentation.
  • Ability to build and maintain accurate recurring status reports, dashboards, and trackers across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Hands-on experience with project management and documentation platforms such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Smartsheet, and advanced spreadsheet work.
  • Track record of driving action items, review turnarounds, and documentation compliance across internal teams, contractors, and providers.
  • Ability to read contractor schedules critically, understand logic ties, float, critical path, and identify schedule risk.
  • Comfort with construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and MEP and mission-critical terminology.
  • Ability to turn scattered inputs into dashboards using data and reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate project status clearly to executives while retaining important detail.
  • Discretion and care when handling confidential contract, cost, and vendor information.

Responsibilities

  • Ingest contractor and vendor schedules across multiple concurrent projects; extract critical path, key milestones, long-lead deliveries, and float consumption; consolidate them into program-level and executive-level schedule views; and flag slippage, sequencing conflicts, and milestone risk.
  • Maintain the integrated program schedule and milestone tracker, reconcile contractor updates against baseline, maintain revision history, and align OFCI delivery dates, commissioning windows, and capacity ready-for-service dates.
  • Own the project document control system, including drawing registers, specifications, submittal logs, RFI logs, transmittals, meeting minutes, permits, inspection records, and as-builts; enforce naming conventions, revision control, and access permissions.
  • Log, route, and track submittals and RFIs to internal reviewers, monitor turnaround against contractual review windows, follow up on overdue responses, and maintain an audit trail of decisions and approvals.
  • Track change orders, change directives, and potential change items from initiation through disposition; maintain supporting documentation and reconcile the change log against budget trackers, purchase orders, and invoices with procurement and finance.
  • Produce weekly project status reports, milestone dashboards, open-item and risk registers, and monthly program summaries for executive leadership; ensure figures align across schedule, cost, and field reporting.
  • Prepare agendas and materials for OAC, design review, and page-turn meetings; capture minutes and decisions, publish action items with owners and due dates, and follow through to closure.
  • Assemble and quality-check closeout packages, including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, commissioning reports, and training records; ensure timely handoff to Data Center Operations and Facilities.
  • Administer and improve the project management and documentation platforms used by DCIE; build templates, trackers, and automated reporting to reduce manual effort and standardize project practices.
  • Maintain the controlled library of Basis of Design documents, standard details, specifications, and internal procedures, keeping versions current and accessible.
  • Support Network Engineering, Data Center Operations, HPC, Supply Chain, and TPM with accurate schedule and documentation inputs for downstream deployment planning.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with construction administration, project controls, or document control on complex construction or critical infrastructure programs, ideally data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience with dashboarding or light automation.

About the Company

Lambda

Cloud-based GPU services for AI training

Lambda Labs provides cloud-based GPU services for AI training and inference via its AI Developer Cloud, powered by NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper hardware to efficiently train large language models and generative AI. Customers access on-demand or reserved GPUs and are billed by the hour (for example, NVIDIA H100 at about $1.99/hour); it also offers Lambda Echelon, where clients own infrastructure but pay a monthly hosting and support fee, and Lambda Stack, a software suite that helps ML teams install and upgrade tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA, cuDNN, and NVIDIA drivers. The company differentiates itself through competitive pricing, available high-end hardware, and an integrated ML software stack that streamlines workflows. Its goal is to enable scalable, affordable AI development and deployment by providing flexible GPU access, reliable hosting, and easy software deployment for teams working with large models.
