About the job
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, a recognized military radiologic technologist training program, or two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained, must be provided.
- Previous healthcare experience.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or current Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
- Computed tomography certification within 24 months of hire.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification within three months of hire.
- A current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license.
- Deliver diagnostic imaging services across Radiology and computed tomography using advanced technology to support timely and accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Use specialized imaging equipment and techniques to produce diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to support efficient workflows, patient experiences, and clinical outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical resource and contribute to the education of students and fellow healthcare professionals.
- Experience as a hospital radiographer and computed tomography technologist.
- Two years of clinical experience.
- ARRT certification in computed tomography.
