About the job
- Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset.
- Working knowledge of passenger, light truck, and specialty tires and mechanical services.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial driver's abstract.
- Create work orders, arrange bookings, and communicate them to technicians.
- Provide service quotes, receive customer authorization for vehicle work, finalize sales, and complete customer follow-up.
- Make proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction with the service received.
- Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel service, and mechanical service to customers.
- Ensure products are billed accurately and process the necessary information in the computer system.
- Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
- Participate in assigned safety initiatives to ensure the safety of customers and staff on the road, at the site, or in the field.
- Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhere to the standards and policies described in the learning modules.
- Assist with inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.
