Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Conduct records audits for system use regarding Criminal Justice Information Services systems, including monthly and annual validations, required user audits prescribed by Criminal Justice Information Services, and audits of specific records entered within federal systems.
  • Conduct audit actions on Air Force Criminal Justice Information Center Major Command team records reviews and entries to ensure compliance with established processes and accurate information.
  • Engage with and establish an order of battle to assist or participate with Office of Special Investigations headquarters and Inspector General, Judge Advocate Justice Policy Development Team, Air Force Security Forces Center, and Major Command or Wing Inspector General unit effectiveness inspections and staff assistance visits for audits of Office of Special Investigations detachments and squadrons, Security Forces Squadrons, and Judge Advocate offices for compliance with Department of Defense and Air Force policies regarding administrative and criminal indexing.
  • Work with the Criminal History Record Information Data Manager to compile and provide analytical reports regarding compliance results from audits.
  • Coordinate with Air Force Criminal Justice Information Center Major Command teams regarding field-level compliance with indexing policies and procedures for real-time risks to the Department of the Air Force.
  • Assist the Department of the Air Force Criminal Justice Information Services Systems Officer in conducting virtual and on-site terminal audits for compliance with Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy and authorized use of Criminal Justice Information Services systems.
