Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in accounting, business, or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of treasury management or commercial loan experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking payment system regulations, transaction processing, and corporate treasury functions.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed established sales goals within expected timelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and related software.
  • Regular travel and client-facing activities, including significant time spent in the field developing new business relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and source new commercial clients for treasury management services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve deposit and fee income goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pricing pro formas.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular reviews and consultative engagement.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain contact with top and high-priority customers.
  • Serve as an internal expert on treasury management products and services.
  • Provide clients with strategic advisory services on cash management, fraud prevention, and payment solutions.
  • Champion new product development and pricing internally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the bank at community events and industry conferences.
  • Maintain current knowledge of bank regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Track sales, revenue, deposit growth, client acquisition, client retention, pipeline health, and time to close.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

August 7, 2026 SACRAMENTO, Calif. - River City Bank (NASDAQ: RCBC) (the "Bank") today announced the successful completion of its initial public offering (IPO) of 2,700,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $45.00 per share. The Bank's common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "RCBC" on August 6, 2026. The offering consisted solely of existing shares held by two of the Bank's long-time shareholders associated with the family of the Bank's founder, Jon Kelly. The stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "RCBC" on 6 August 2026. The offering consists entirely of existing shares held by two longtime shareholders associated with the family of the bank's founder, Jon Kelly. No new shares are being issued by the bank. Raymond James & Associates and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods are serving as joint book-running managers. D.A. Davidson & Co. and Stephens Inc. are co-managers. As of 30 June 2026, River City Bank had approximately $6.0 billion in assets, $4.7 billion in gross loans, and $5.4 billion in deposits.

River City Bank reports $19.6M Q2 net income, 14% book value growth and $0.05 dividend

River City Bank reported net income of $19.6 million, or $1.37 per share, for the second quarter of 2026, compared to $15.4 million, or $1.05 per share, for the same period in 2025. The Sacramento-based bank achieved a 13.92% return on average equity and 1.28% return on average assets. For the six months ended 30 June 2026, net income reached $37.6 million, or $2.60 per share, up from $27.7 million, or $1.89 per share, in the first half of 2025. Book value per share increased 14% to $40.58. The bank maintained its efficiency ratio at 29% and reported zero non-performing loans. Total loans grew $327 million year-over-year to $4.7 billion, whilst deposits increased $854 million. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.05 per share, payable 17 August 2026.
