Requirements
  • At least two years of full-time clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • A license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • A current unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Certificate, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic life support certification, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive women's health assessments, physical examinations, and annual well-woman visits.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions, including menstrual disorders, infections, pelvic pain, and menopause-related concerns.
  • Provide contraception counseling and prescribe all forms of contraception, including long-acting reversible contraceptives.
  • Deliver family planning, preventive health screening, and patient education services.
  • Provide prenatal and postpartum care, including management of normal and high-risk obstetrical patients.
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans and manage patient care independently within scope of practice.
  • Perform office-based gynecologic procedures, including intrauterine device insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, and other minor gynecologic procedures.
  • Provide care through both in-person and telehealth visits.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Provide gynecologic services for women in all stages of life.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in women's health, gynecology, or obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Experience performing colposcopy and vulvar biopsy.
  • Experience managing hormone replacement therapy and menopause care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient engagement skills.
